<Anyway, I loved shogun and the first time I opened the book I was in fairbanks (waiting to work on the pipline)in the summer with 24 hour daylight and I read it until I could no longer focus my eyes-lol>. What memories, eh?<g> I bought the book one saturday morning while grocery-shopping when I was in graduate school. I thought I will just skim through a couple of chapters then tackle an assignment due monday. Well, I read all day and half the night saturday, got up sunday and read into the night to finish it. I got up rather bleary-eyed monday and only then realised I hadn't done my assignment! What a book.
