There is no truth in it
the guise of its’ lies beguiles the wise

flittering glitter
sham of a shimmer

no truth in it
youth the prize stole from sore eyes

all round
ground down

flood of blood
leaves a hole in the soul

no truth in it
darkness draws near

will becomes nil
boldness now fear

time
a crime, sold for a dime

failure of nerve
spark without verve

paralysis
is fatality

philosophy
is futility

engage
your rage

the storm
is the norm

define
or decline

repent
or relent

conform
or deform

dictate your terms
or your despair churns worms.
