Ted or anyone,

There was a interesting front page article in this morning's WSJ about GTL (gas to liquid) diesel fuel and the work they are doing in Qatar on a huge (and hugely expensive) processing plant.

Is anyone following GTL either from a political or investment standpoint?

I did for a while...........you could have made a fortune last year on the stock of one of them.....LNG. Apparently, LNG is the big one. Frankly, the whole process potentially seems fraught with problems. First, you have to extract the NG of say Qatar and then, turn it into liquid gas and then pipe it onto a ship. The ship then takes it to say the US where there is a facility that turns it back into a gas and sends it through pipelines to its destination. To me, its sounds like a lot of expensive and potentially dangerous work. However, with NG at $6+ per Bcf, I guess it makes it feasible. We'll see.
