WatchGuard Enhances Global Presence with New Distribution Partnerships in EMEA Region
SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)----WatchGuard Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:WGRD), a leading provider of network security solutions, today announced three agreements with major distributors in Austria, Italy and France. The partnerships are designed to expand the distribution channel for the company's network security solutions, including the WatchGuard Firebox X line of integrated security appliances, and to further extend the company's reseller network across the region.
Ingram Micro, the world's largest technology distributor, will deliver WatchGuard's full line of integrated security appliances in Austria. AlgolProducts, the largest Italian distributor of network computing technologies, and Feeder, one of the leading French distributors of professional IT solutions, will sell WatchGuard's products to resellers in their respective markets.
As WatchGuard distributors, Ingram Micro, AlgolProducts and Feeder will work with WatchGuard to extend the benefits of the WatchGuard Secure Partner (WSP) Program to resellers in their respective territories. The WSP program provides authorized resellers with training, lead generation, pre- and post-sales service and support, and access to tools such as the WatchGuard Reseller Toolkit, a comprehensive set of online sales and marketing resources designed to help resellers maximize their successes based on best practice information. It is available exclusively to authorized WatchGuard resellers and includes up-to-date marketing collateral, product literature, competitive intelligence, white papers, case studies and presentations.
"We continue to expand our global distribution network in response to the increasing demand for affordable, easy-to-manage, comprehensive network security solutions," said Richard Reid, managing director, EMEA, at WatchGuard. "We want our channel partners to benefit from the market demand within the security space and are committed to providing all the resources they need to be successful in selling WatchGuard solutions. We've created a program that rewards partners not only for ongoing sales of services, but also for selling add-on functionality and upgrades, as well as the appliance itself, enabling our partners to significantly increase the revenue opportunity per customer. We believe helping our partners to seize the market opportunity is the key to continually strengthening our global network."
