I don't know how right wing radio is doing their coverage of the Guckert scandal but the right wing neocons bloggers online are doing their best to defuse the situation. One of the things they are saying is that it has no bearing on the case that Guckert "may" have been involved in male prostitution. They may have a small point there but there are plenty of other questions which need to be addressed .... for instance....

Who exactly first cleared Guckert.

What background checks did they do on Guckert.

What background checks were done on the Talon news outfit which Guckert worked for.

Why was a guy with no news background who was working for a very small time news website which has direct links to staunchly republican organizations allowed into press briefings and even a presidential press conference.

Were there other more qualified journalists who were turned down for a daily press pass while Guckert was getting one every day.

Are either of George Bush, Karl Rove or Scott McClellan gay and were any of them blackmailed or coerced in any way to get the press pass for Guckert? This goes for all involved.

These are just a couple of the many questions which need to be addressed.
