Well, I reject outright any comparison with pitchers. It's a ridiculous comparison in my view. A QB plays and runs every game, a pitcher at best pitches 15% of a team's innings. Marino performed worse in the playoffs than the regular season. That's why he'll never be viewed as better than his contemporary, Montana. Marino was on a lot of excellent teams, but he lacked the intelligence, nerves, leadership and guts to win in the post season.
