Betty Ann, great idea >> ... the best way of dealing with [COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS of AMLN and LGND] would be another thread devoted to that issue.<<
I too follow multiple threads, and would appreciate the reduced redundancy your suggestion would provide. In fact, I propose EXTENDING your concept. The thread could be called "Drugs for Diabetes and Obesity --- Competition and Synergy"
There have been several recent additions to the oral drugs available to diabetics, and others are in trials. Obesity is a related metabolic disorder. A SEPARATE thread to follow ALL these developments makes terrific good sense.
Information is (more) useful when well organized. To avoid redundancy, posters on the new thread could provide LINKS to relevant posts already on the main threads, avoid repetition, and concentrate on comparisons and new information. To be useful, comparison information needs to be "tight."
I'm particularly interested in how metformin fits into the picture, and how it relates to AMLN's drug, but I'll save my questions/comments for the new thread.
How about it Henry ??!! (Such a thread would NOT be a Ligand sub-topic.)
Regards, Cheryl (Champion of order, Foe of "information spaghetti" <G> IMO, some sound "structured programming" "informations system" and techniques would benefit our threads. ) |
