benwood, Is she aware of Benecol? If not, have her ask her doctor. It is a great cholesterol reducer and changes the omegas in your blood. Other brands of butter substitute try to do the same, but Benecol is the one they recommend at The Cooper Aerobics place. You can also get it in a snack bar and a pill, but I eat toast and use it there. However, I've never had a cholesterol problem, so it is just good diet sense on my part and her doctor may have other ideas.
