Why would it be Israel? They have the most to lose from a Lebenese PM who wants to restore Democracy for Lebanon and independence from Syria. Syria funds terrorism against Israel from the Lebanese border. Point the finger at Israel doesn't make any sense. Pointing it at Syria makes a heck of a lot of sense, considering that this PM was very vocal against changing the Lebanese constitution to allow extending the stay of the pro-Syrian gov't.

Israel and Syria are arch enemies. Israel holds Syria's Golan Hts....which btw has water as well. If the PM was assassinated, everyone would suspect Syria, not Israel. That's why Israel would do it.......to stir up the pot and make Syria look bad.
