If you don't like my posts, don't read them. It's that simple.

Over 2,500 years ago, Plato wrote that the unexamined life is not worth living. You can accept that or not. But if you do, then examining life is essential to a live worth living.

That's all I'm doing here. Examining life. Going beyond pre-judgments. Going beyond the invalid concept that the law and morality are always in sync. Trying to root out why this act sickens us and why we find it unacceptable and why we have laws against it.

If those things don't matter to you, find. Don't engage in the discussion.

But serious adults, IMO, should be able to examine and discuss beliefs, principles, the sources of law, right and wrong, and other similar issues without namecalling and without personal attack. Obviously, you disagree.

Which is your right. But I suggest that your better course is to ignore this discussion and let those who are serious about exploring what they believe and why they believe it proceed with the discussion.
