R.D.,

While the iraqbodycount.org website does list a "maximum" of 18,000 casualties, it is important to keep this in perspective.

The methodology of the IraqbodyCount group is well considered here:

iraqbodycount.net

The difference is that the Lancet has used statistical means to extrapolate the unknowable number of casualties, while the IraqbodyCount actuaries clearly state that they are undercounting the actual number of casualties.

Even the IraqBodyCount actuaries would find your argument preposterous and disingenuous, to say the least.

Who are you getting your facts from R.D.? Jeff Gannon/Jim Guckert? He's seems to be the sort of reliable source you rely on:
americablog.blogspot.com

You might consider better sources, eh?

Cheerio!
