I believe Greenspan had some qualifications on Bush reform ideas to soc sec. I think he answered that over a trillion more in debt to pay for change over to private accounts would be unacceptable. Greenspan support for private accounts is correct but i think he is looking for increase in cap on wages or other methods to avoid running up debt. I do not think he gave and open approval with Bush plan.
