Who cares ! If gays wish too marry, LET THEM! If a religious group does not wish to recognize them thats fine . Many groups I am sure will.

I do not know why gay's would want to seek religious approval, it not like religion ever excepted gays for who they are. But if gay's wish to enter the corrupt world of religion, its their choice.
