If we attack Iran it will prove once and for all that the lunatics are running the asylum in Washington, DC. A country 4 times the size of Iraq with a well trained army and solid government and a culturally cohesive society.

BTW, I have a friend who is convinced there is an Israel tie in to the Attack on Iraq. So, you are not alone in that line of thinking. I do think the Israel lobby played a major role in this war, as it helps Israel out tremendously. But, honestly, most wars are ultimately about the control of resources that are vital to an economy. What more vital resource is there than oil to Western societies? Besides, if it was all about Isreal, why didn't we attack Iran's nuclear facilities first? That poses a bigger threat to Isreal than Saddam's depleated army and scrutinized weapons program.

If there's one thing this Attack on Iraq definitely wasn't about, it wasn't about lowering the risk of terrorism. This has been the best thing ever to happen to Al Queda and other Mid East terrorists. It shows the U.S. in the worst possible light and gives them a reason to get riled up to fight. Stupid war, unless you're interested in consolidating your power and ensuring increasing defense budgets (oh yeah, that's exactly what Bush just did).
