Yes, and we endured another session of Greenspeak. Here is a guy who is obviously doing a great job at what he is getting paid the bucks to do. No wonder Bush reappointed him.

According to Greenspan, there is no inflation, no deflation, no bubble, no debt problem, and Bush's economic policy is perfect. Back in 1996, he thought he saw a problem in the equity markets, and he uttered the now famous "irrational exuberance" phrase. But that of course didn't last because he was obviously told to put on the rose coloured glasses, and he has been wearing them to this day.

What I don't understand is why anybody actually pays any attention to any of this B.S. In Greenspan's case, I am sure the over-riding consideration is to keep the economy from deflating all the while hoping that an economic miracle comes along. This hope, I believe, is shared world wide. And no one wants to call the game because they are all in it.
