Its too bad that Robert Reich found it necessary to slum with Coulter. Socialist Robert Reich provides the conservative balance on Air America. It would be admirable if he were doing admirable things. Following and criticizing are easy activities. Neither is admirable. Therefore, while you may not admire President Bush and the Republicans, you cannot admire Democrats. The program that needs to be downsized is not Amtrak but defense. Guns versus butter has been a debate for eons. China is spending a huge percentage of their GNP on offensive weapons. When 21% of the world population is better armed than the rest of the world combined who is going to stop them from world domination? Do you want a government that frivolously jail dissidents calling the shots? I certainly would be jailed, you might be. Clinton cut Defense to the point that taming two small countries has stretched our military. How low do you suggest we go? Do you speak Chinese? It might be a good idea to learn the language of your new masters now. <g>
