When we hear this statement with the knowledge that 63 journalists have been killed in Iraq, in addition to the fact that in a 14-month-period, more journalists were killed in Iraq than during the entire Vietnam War, one begins to get the feeling that the military clampdown on the media is more than a myth or a conspiracy theory

Killed by IEDs, by head-hacking insurgents, by Coalition troops, deliberately, accidentally, whatever, who needs f---ing facts when there's a good conspiracy theory to get rolling?

You daily post examples of why the Democrats are going to be out of power for a long time. They've been taken over by puffers and conspiracy-mongers.

BTW, ss, your hero Scott Ritter is writing for Al Jazeera now. He ought to fit right in over there.
