Ali,
I come here only to help. Honest!

We all want to make money. In evaluating the situation between AMD, Cyrix and Intel, I see a complete runaway situation for Intel from all competitors.

I also see AMD retracing the trip it took starting in 95 from about $40 to $10.25 (7/24/96). You can certainly make money on a stock going down but it's pretty hard and risky in a bull market. On that downward trek for AMD I bailed out of my large AMD holdings at around 30 and dumped it all in Intel. Since Jan 1, 96 ( 20 month's later) my entire portfolio has grown by a factor of 5.5; most of the gains compliments of Intel.

Past history chart programs can be a good guide for the future, when used together with all the available news. Intel stock grew 1000% in the last 5 years. With Intel's runaway situation I will not be surprised if we get a 2000% growth in the stock price of Intel in the next 5 years. The internet will make that very possible. Will AMD get it's share of sales?

I was once a very proud (but humble) AMD'er. Never missed a stockholders meeting. How did I get SAVED? Jerry III did it when he misspoke, only to set the record straight about one month later.

Good investing to all. Get GREEDY and go with a winner and make money. Life's too short to be poor when you can get filthy rich.

As for me and my house: In Intel We Trust
piously humble carl
