You are not really getting what I say.

SS is simply one sympton of the poor demographic trends.

I didn't get you with your first post. It sounded like you were having babies just to fix SS. But I got you after you explained it.

I do, however, disagree with your framing of the demographic problem and your proposed solution to it. I realize that there are many parents who are insistent on giving birth to their own babies to the point of taking on enormous pain and expense while others just want a family and are happy to adopt. That applies to countries as well as families. We don't have to change our tax system. We can change our demographics via our immigration policies if that's something we want to do.
