I don't think any teacher would have a problem passing the kind of test that you suggest above.

Yet many resist the effort. When tested some fail.

Ted I am on a school board in a small school district. Every teacher we have is excellent. Some are more excellent than others. I don't think that our teachers are the problem. Yet, if they were tested, it would probably highlight some areas which could be improved.

If testing is not part of education, then why do we test students?
