Update on Benton shares: Cerberus Partners had previously acquired 400,000 RMTR shares in Sep 95 at $6.50/sh - the shares were sold by a Chinese uranium consortium at an auction in New York. The Chinese received these shares in late 94 from Benton as security under a uranium deal. Looks like they are getting out -- with many more shares to come!

Benton Trustee: The trustee of the Benton Liquidating Trust is a partner with Price Waterhouse (Chicago) - David J. Beckman. Price Waterhouse were the accountants engaged by the Creditors' Committee in the Bankruptcy Case. There was an article recently in one of the Denver newspapers about professional fees charged by the attorneys and accountants - close to $24 million. The Trustee gets compensated based on a percentage of the amount realized from sales (upwards of 2% if sold within 12 months).

If the bankruptcy process (2 1/2 years) is any indication, don't look for these shares to get placed in the near future. 6-9 months is more realistic, unless the Trustee is under pressure to generate cash to pay their own fees or the Benton IRS Settlement.
