There are three types of immigration. Legal, refugee, and illegal.

Personally, I think we should shut down totally illegal immigration, and not just give it a nod "and a wink...."

We never know how many refugees we will have to take in each year, nor where they will be from. These are signed by Presidential Order.

Re the legal immigration, perhaps we should relook at the numbers that we currently have, and where those people are to come from. It used to be about 500,000 per year.

With the large numbers of refugees, and heaven only knows how many illegals, it's hard to change the number of allowed legal immigrants, until we get the other two defined.
