Tim,

VVUS aside--SIT AND HOLD has been an obviously profitable strategy during the life of this super-bull market. Someday, one of these 7-10% corrections will herald the start of a bear market and a buy and hold strategy will kill you--twice as fast if you are fully margined. We've just had a very short, sharp 7% correction and now the start of an equally sharp retracement. This is a wave 2 retracement until the 8300+ high is taken out; if 8300 isnt surpassed and another downtrend starts and takes out the wave 1 low, then the long awaited bear is here. "Always look over your shoulder, you never know what may be gaining on you"--it may be a bear. At 23, you have experienced only a bull market so those ancient bear markets are only dry statistics--until you live through one.<gg> Then you learn to always look over your shoulder. Regardless, I enjoy your youthful enthusiasm--but then Tuna proves you dont have to be young to be enthusiastic.<gg>

Regards,
Gary
