I dunno. Can't say I've ever given it more than a few seconds of thought. I don't know why we would want to change the rules. It seems OK the way it is. I'd listen to arguments if there are any.

One of the downsides would be the administration cost. You'd have to have some sort of judicial or at least administrative process to restore voting rights based on rehabilitation. Don't see why we'd want to incur that overhead.

I don't have any visceral aversion to felons voting after they've been rehabilitated but I don't have any warm and fuzzy feelings about it either.
