Looks like Skeeter has been booted off of SI. He wants to know when GEMS last preannounced an earnings shortfall, exactly how far in advance of earnings was it? I looked back on the thread to 1996 and all I could figure was mid-September. Earnings were reported Sept 30th. Any ideas out there? Skeeter thinks as long as there is no preannouncement we will get the 24 cents the street is looking for and the stock will rise again. I agree. Any insight would be appreciated. BTW vw, looks like ASND is holding fine. Regards, Jeff
