There is enough Cisco IOS code in MSFT Directory Services (see www.cisco.com) ... for it not to matter whether Microsoft, Cisco or some other 3rd party developer delivers network or internet glue to the end user? John Chambers has been specific on his desire to proliferate IOS in the marketplace and Bill Gates has specifically made the same comments at the press release last month in Orlando where Gates and Chambers launched the KPMG/Cisco/Microsoft jointly owned company called EIS, Inc.
Maybe someone has thoughts on revenue impact?
