Actually the argument is much more easily apparent when you hear them scream and whine about the electoral college. They want the country run by a few large cities. New York, Frisco, DC, LA and Chicago.

I thought you guys were in favor of "don't give a damn about what the states think - Just shove it down their throat the way you want to". Isn't that precisely what was done with Roe v. Wade, Brown v. Board of Education, ..........

So now suddenly in one special case you plead state's rights?
