Probably the BEST party for the markets, was the Republican Party that was led by Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover in the 1920's.

Those guys put the markets ahead of everything else. Environment, labor laws, regulations of any sort were ignored, because as Coolidge said, "What's good for General Motors is good for America."


If you were a farmer, a laborer, elderly, or just poor period, you were on your own or just SCREWED.

It was the Democratic Party that GAVE us a strong and vibrant middle class.

Republicans seem to want to return us to the "good old days".
