Is that right? Another reason to
drink more coffee in the middle of
the night.

Renee called me a couple hours ago--
Miriel had a fever of 105. Moist cool
towels, washclothes, tylenol--I assume
she got her temp down a couple of degrees.

Meanwhile, one of the forecast offices
calls me to coordinate--airbrush the
day 7 grids etc. What a stupid waste being
here in the middle of the night. This
is why we run model simulations--and
they have forecasters airbrushing
'gridded forecasts'. What bullshit.
I can type the correct forecast up in
about fifteen minutes. Airbrushing the
pimples off of 'the grids', no thanks.

Really hate this job, with the exception
of the pay of course.

Really should have sold all stocks in 00
and bought an annuity. Remember 7%, doh!

Before it is all over, I am going to have
my organic vegetable garden, my chickens,
and two yurts. And I will sleep at night.
