I wasn't suggesting to spam the spammers back. Most of the return email addresses are spoofed anyway. I was suggesting to string along certain scam businesses that the spammers spam for. It's completely different. It might be funny to have a board here for just that purpose. People could see how many emails they could keep a scammer strung along for and post the resulting logs.

I remember the story about the guy who had his website hijacked for spam email purposes. He warned the girl who did it to stop. Well anyway she did it again and he got into her site and published a lot of her stuff online. Part of what he published was conversations in which she spoke of being paid by the click through for certain kinds of spam. Do you remember that? That's the kind of spam I was thinking that my idea might slow down. They would come up with new tricks of course but so could the anti spammers.
