Yes, they will alert you as you wish but only when the chart is opened and they will do it with voice. I don't know what you mean by reset on their own. All alerts will keep firing as needed and if you don't open the chart for months, it could have several alerts saved up which is very annoying. I use it and when I haven't looked at a chart for while, I have to cancel the alerts for fear of listeining to them again and again for hours. -ggg- Good Luck, Lee
