In many places, particularly the obsessive/compulsive Brits, records show that Spring tends to spring earlier and ranges of warmer temp. organisms tend to be moving more northley. If that isn't true for the blue-staters, then you just aren't with the program... My citrus is starting to flush. Everything else is starting to bud. Again, not that is any good indication. Almonds tend to do poorly in this area because they start to bud and then we get a freeze at exactly the wrong time. In general, this is about the time of year we start to plant.
