The GOP platform has not been anti-gay. <> LOL. One would have to wonder why the president made a huge deal of supporting an amendment to the Constitution which would ban gay marriage, if in fact the GOP is not anti-gay. I think from the perspective of gays, this is seen as anti-gay. But somehow from the perspective of republicans it's seen as pro-gay. From the mount...looking down on the poor gay sots who know not what is best for themselves...we need to look after them like a flock of sheep. This is not anti-gay...but pro-gay in the sense that "we" know what is best for you. You see if you were to marry the person that you love, it would send the wrong message to the world, that homosexual marriage is the norm. That would tear down the institution of marriage. And that would be bad for America. And what is bad for America is bad for gays. So we are anti-gay marriage, but "we" are pro-gay, as evidenced by the selection of gay prostitutes as Whitehouse correspondents.
