Not true at all! That is where I go from April til Dec. every year. The night life there has (IMO) surpassed Vegas in the past couple years. The Trump Plaza already had the Casbah, Planet Hollywood and the Hard Rock have been in place for years, and The Borgata and Trump Marina opened super-clubs last year. Harrah's opened one last week, but I haven't seen it yet. The beach has several cabana type bars. (Now that you mention it, I don't even recall seeing many kids on the beach or the boardwalk in the summer.) The only edge I would give to LV is the quality of the shows (which I never cared about anyway) and the sheer magnitude of everything. Don't get me wrong, Vegas is a "must see" for everyone who likes to travel and I enjoy myself every time I visit, but young people (like me) have a really good time in AC!
