If this is business as usual, why do you think its coming to our attention now?

Political influence in science has come to my attention long before now.

I am not talking to your attention.....I was talking in terms of the nation's attention. I believe there is a change in attitude and just like the WH is working over time to influence the press, I think its doing the same with other groups such as scientists. Its suggests a creeping corruption.
