nonsense and blasphemy. Jesus was not gay. He was heterosexual and celibate. I know, in a day and age when everyone is taught to give in to every impulese, that seems crazy -- but that is the truth.

Some here have said that Jesus said nothing with respect to homosexuality -- that is not true. There is at least one indirect reference which is worthwhile to consider:

Jesus gave these instructions to the disciples he sent out to preach. In this he acknowledged the judgement, fire and brimstone, that was rained down on Sodom and Gommorah.

11"And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay at his house until you leave that city.

12"As you enter the house, (A)give it your greeting.

13"If the house is worthy, give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace.

14"Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, (B)shake the dust off your feet.

15"Truly I say to you, (C)it will be more tolerable for the land of (D)Sodom and Gomorrah in (E)the day of judgment than for that city. <<

Given the fact that Lot was living in the city -- Abraham pleaded with the Lord to spare the city of Sodom. God couldn't find 5 righteous people in the city -- and this didn't mean people who hadn't sinned at all either.

You may regard wiping out an entire city as drastic, but that is not God's worldview -- He considered and knew what would have happened if the practice spread.

Think about Lot's situation here -- he received angels into his house and was willing to let the men pressing in around his door to do anything to his daughter to protect his guests. The men of the city wanted to have sex with whoever new arrived at the borders apparently. This is the road that acceptance of homosexuality and other deviant behavior leads to. Animal like depravity.

If the state actually starts promulgating homosexuality -- the next thing to be question will be sex with children, or sex in public or anything else which has historically been considered wrong. I am not afraid of homosexuality, but the state has no business promoting, in my opinion -- not any more than it does promoting other kinds of immorality or evil behaviors.
