So let's really tax the rich, since we desperately need money, and let's give the middle class a break for right now. For example, let's not stop taxing at 90k. I don't see the point of that. If you're making more than 90k a year, you can pony up a little more. The guy who is making 40k pays on every last dollar. I don't want to strip the rich of all their lovely entitlements, but I do think they should and could pay more- because we are in deep doo doo, and the republicans are no more fiscally responsible than the democrats (actually less so, I've never seen a president as profligate as Bush)- so they better start paying for their irresponsibility, and they better not do it on the backs of the poor.
