Hi Don,

I like your idea for a newspaper very much. In fact I've looked into producing just such a publication and if it formatted as a tabloid, it could be produced for much less than you suggest, if such luxuries as color pictures are not included.

After copy-ready material is provided to one printer in my area, an 8 page tabloid can be produced at a cost of about $350 per 5,000 copies.

The crux for me is acquiring and learning the publishing software for this "web-press" issue.
