That's why he played them for the media.

I still think he did it to get Bush's attention.

I think Weade thinks he is so close to the seat of power, so close to history, and that he wants to be part of it.

I don't think he means to or want to hurt Bush.

He just thinks that Bush has just forgotten about him.

Bush could play him like a fiddle, if he wants to.

But, if he doesn't, the tapes will probably end up on the Internet somewhere and not only the ones that have already been released.
