ANCHORAGE -- A 44-year-old Anchorage man had his penis surgically reattached after a girlfriend cut it off with a kitchen knife and flushed it down a toilet, police said Sunday. The pair had been arguing over an impending breakup. Water utility workers recovered the penis, which was reattached Sunday morning. Kim Tran, 35, was charged with assault, domestic violence and tampering with evidence. She was jailed without bail.
