For Europe to supply arms for China to exercise its own national sovereignty is as legitimate as an arms sale can get. The part you seem to miss entirely, on this as well as other issues, is that we, the United States of America, are creating a miserable little future for ourselves, with a banana republic currency, a demoralized military, enemies around the world and fewer and weaker alliances. The US is increasingly isolated and the long-term prospects point to continued decline in our wealth, influence and power. Must this be so? No. But we are the ones creating our own future. And the future we are creating is far below what we are capable of achieving.
