Embrace change. The question is, how long will China accept losing the mark-up Wal-Mart charges to make it's profit? Can China-Mart be far behind? I don't buy very much of the Chinese stuff at Wal-Mart. By far, grocery shopping constitutes the bulk of my Wal-Mart purchases, and most of that stuff comes from the USA, none I've seen from China. I get my clothes and furniture at the local Goodwill, which is the ultimate in recycling. Somebody dies, and then I get their clothes and stuff. I don't buy books - if you've got a local library, buying books is for chumps. You guys are probably in a far different situation than I am. I'm not in love with my local community (Salt Lake City), nor am I in love with the local merchants (Mormons), who will screw you if you don't know the secret handshake. At least I know I'm not dealing with THEM when I shop at Wal-Mart, although I'm sure they work there. I'm looking to bail on the local community as soon as I finish the repo I'm fixing up and get my A** out of here!
