Former UN Weapons Inspector Ritter has much more credibility than Mr. Cheney (who told us we had an "imminent threat" from Saddam, Iraq would welcome us as "liberators", and the U.S. could pay for the intervention with Iraq's oil money).

Face the facts...Bush and Cheney LIED to take our country into an UNNECESSARY and counter-productive war...we are viewed as "occupiers" in Iraq and are fueling the insurgency...If you had a friend or relative killed in Iraq would you be pleased that Bush FAILED to do his homework.??..Reagan always said it was important to "trust but verify"...Bush, Cheney and the NeoCONS never wanted to give the weapons inspectors a chance and they never went the extra mile to VERIFY that the intelligence they were using was as accurate as possible.

Scott Ritter is not perfect BUT he did predict that Saddam was NOT an imminent threat to the U.S. (No WMDs) and that by invading without strong international support we would get bogged down in a very costly quagmire.
