It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself to shareholders as Metal Storm’s new CEO. I joined this company because it has built a remarkable technology and I firmly believe it has an exciting future.

My first challenge as CEO is to move Metal Storm’s technology from proof of concept into product implementation. As part of this process, I will identify those aspects of our technology commercialization program that hold the greatest near-term promise, so we can allocate our resources most efficiently.

In my new role I am ably supported by a strong management and technical team, as well as a very experienced international board, who collectively provide a wealth of expertise in those key markets the company is targeting.

By strengthening existing partnerships and seeking out new strategic partners Metal Storm will position itself to maximize its ability to capitalize on its intellectual property assets.

Educating scientific and technical thought leaders within key US military and defense organizations about Metal Storm’s technology is also imperative to our success. Future demonstrations and marketing efforts will target this goal.

I look forward to the challenges of 2005 and beyond, and will continue to communicate to shareholders our progress against strategic objectives.
