We must accept this trend and act accordingly in the interests of self preservation, and in our case because we post publicly or opinions, the interests of others also.

You are correct in the basic assumption that the market will sort things out but you must remember that in 1929 the market didn't do anything positive and market makers jumped out of windows on Wall Street. But if one is brave AND is YOUNG then they can do like my grandfather did during the crash and the lean years afterwards namely load up on blue chips while they were giving them away. He was a show salesman from Winnipeg who ended up a multimillionaire in Beverly Hills by doing this.

Some of us believe that it is past the point of solving and that everything the govt does to paint a rosy picture is propaganda and doomed to fail. Forget political correctness because according to Sinclair 55% of the worlds nations are doing the same as Korea did this week.

Europe doesn't have to have economic growth, witness Switzerland which only grows chocolate and fondues and financial institutions. No they need not grow. All they need to do is the opposite of what the USA is doing and the money will come to them as people will feel somewhat safer in currencies that are rising. Its that simple. Good financial management will attract the worlds cash even if its in Lesotho or Liechtenstein
