The Pope was mad because of Nixon having Kennedy killed. I thought maybe he learned about it through a series of confession sessions. All in all though Trisha Nixon is probably just as good of a guess, maybe better. Some people think it was George 'poppy' Bush. It couldn't have been junior because he was doing community service work out of the kindness of his heart at the time.
