ORBIT/FR Receives Significant New Orders

HORSHAM, Pa., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ORBIT/FR, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ORFR - News), a leading producer of sophisticated, automated microwave test and measurement systems for the aerospace/defense, wireless communication, automotive and satellite industries, today announced the recent awards of several significant international contracts totaling over $2.5 million.

These orders represent the diversity of the Company's customers and product lines. A major European airline has contracted ORBIT/FR to provide a near-field radome measurement system (RMS) to test and repair radomes used in its fleet of commercial aircraft. Also, an Asian auto manufacturer has purchased one of ORBIT/FR's automotive measurement systems to test its various antenna products. In addition, ORBIT/FR has received an order for a cellular antenna measurement system in Europe.
