Since yours is the only non-insulting reply I'll suppose another scenario. Even if people don't dump everything at one time, once enough people sell enough for the shorts to be covered, doesn't the stock go back to one dollar? If not, why not?

As far as why selling the rest when the potential is for the stock to go higher? I believe it was W. Buffet who said, "I didn't get rich by selling at the high.".

I'm not a naysayer and my post wasn't meant as sour grapes but as an idea of what could happen. I think some worst case scenarios should be touched upon here so novices can also realize and assess the risk.
