Funny how no one was talking about demographics, double digit appreciation and a shortage of land way back in 1998. Whatever happened to the new economy pumped to the moon back then? What has really changed besides the general public is heavily involved in property these days, interest rates have been cut in half, anyone who can walk and chew bubble gum at the same time can get a loan and the general public is absolutely terrified of putting money into the stock market? Every sign I have studied shows this is a total scam and the greatest misallocation of capital in modern times. And I used to love real estate investing so much I did it for a living.
