Should you have married your guitar--lol?

Mine was a big-tubbed maple Kay with severely high action. Worse, I got sent to a lousy guitar teacher. Quit. Went through teenage years pretty much with a one-string guitar. Managed bands in the '70s, learned how to finally play, stubbornly, maybe even wrecklessly, teaching myself in the early '80s. My guitars when I finally got going were a '56 Les Paul Jr, a '63 Gibson J-50 and an early-'60s B-25 12-string. Lost 'em. Then came up with a '52 Gretch New Yorker. That was nice. But I lost that too. Don't ask--lol! These days I'm stringin' a '68 Guild, a late-model 12-string Epiphone, an old-old Harmony, a classical and an electric Gremlin (whatever that is--lol!).

We're about to get weekly music-meal parties going again and they'll build into spring for a great summer and on. And at the beach, no less--should be fun!
